Wishing You an Eldritch Lovecraft Day

by Charles Pooter

Today is the 70th anniversary of the death of the man Stephen King called "the Twentieth Century's greatest practitioner of the classic horror tale".

In celebration of the life and work of H.P. Lovecraft, this blog will be republishing, in three parts, over three days, his classic tale The Call of Cthulhu. Each installment will include original artwork by Paul Carrick, with permission of the artist.

Call was written by Lovecraft in Summer 1926 and originally published in the February 1928 issue of Weird Tales.
